Artist Sharon Weiser is a native of Wisconsin. She received K-12 teaching certificate and BFA from the University of Wisconsin. She moved to Phoenix in 1992, but before then, she taught in the Art and Design Department at the University of Wisconsin for 2 years - Classes are taught weekly in Any level Painting, Beginning Painting, Color Theory and Drawing. For more than 3 decades, she has conducted workshops and classes in New Mexico and in Wisconsin, Arizona. In the February of 2011, Sharon was featured in the issue of The Phoenix Home and Garden Magazine. Her mature sense of design, diligent attention to detail, versatility of subject and bold use of color have won her many awards, including those from The Artist’s and the American Artist magazines.
In late 2011 Sharon moved back to the Midwest where she opened a studio in Stillwater, MN. Her clients include Best Western, Quality Inn, Ramada Inn, Holiday Inn, Days Inn, and the Island and Coral Princess Cruise Ships. Public Space Art and Room Art are among the many commercial interior design projects that she has completed. Sharon is a juried member of the Scottsdale Artists League, Sonoran Arts League and the Arizona Art Alliance. She is represented by Turquoise Tortoise in Sedona, AZ, Rogoway Gallery in Tubac, AZ., and Steinway Piano Gallery, Tucson, AZ. Sharon considers art as the best through which she expresses her inner feelings and a means through which she communicates these feelings to her viewers. She is open to learning new things o keep her art up-to-date.
