Cora Niele is an independent digital designer and photographer who has been working since 2005 through her company, MetaFlorica. She creates evocative photographic images, usually for decorative purposes. Cora provides licensed fine art images for commercial uses, publishing, wall art, collections, consultants, and product applications. She works in dialogue with clients so as to convert their views and needs into tailor-made images. She invites those with an idea or project in mind to feel free to contact her, and share their ideas. Cora works in a small village in the Netherlands. Her abundant garden supplies her studio with the basis for her style that she refers to as “floragraphy". In the style, she strives to create “inspirational and distinctive images instead of mere floral records". Cora grew up in the photo studio of her father with photos and cameras everywhere around.
As the daughter of a professional photographer she has a background in the newer digital skills combined with practicalities of traditional studio photography. She absorbed both the aesthetic and technical side of photography from a very young age. She enjoys composing with contrast, color and light. After high school she did a master in floral design as well as an academic study of cultural sciences; which she did out of interest and love for history and art. About 10 years ago, Cora got the opportunity to combine her skills and interests in a company of her own. Now she has her own studio, not only with a dedicated natural light room but also with classic studio lighting.
