PiperAnne Worcester is an artist based in Loveland, CO - United States. Colorado has been her home since she was born, and even whenever she wanders the beauty of the mountains always calls her back. Even after a short stint in Kentucky, she had to go back to Colorado. When she was nine years old, her first collie, Prince, started her deep love of animals of all kinds. As time goes by she has had a variety of cats and dogs, all of whom have been the stepping stones for becoming a photographer. PiperAnne is passionate about capturing the lovely expressions of cats and dogs and their interesting personalities. She also feels happy to capture the natural moments of their unique spirits and energies. She says it's a satisfying experience photographing animals in the natural environment they live in and also to photograph the people who walk this earth with her.
Whether it's a working border collie, a happy pet, a lumbering giraffe, a laughing child, a tiny wildflower, a glorious mountain, or a breathtaking sunset, every subject she photographs has a story. She hopes that her photographs reveal those stories, with the essence of the moment but without words. PiperAnne says that Africa is a thought provoking and an amazing place. She had always dreamed of going and finally made it, not once but twice and with her camera in hand. The variety, color, and spirit of Tanzania and Kenya were far better and bigger than she ever imagined.
