Ali Kabas was born in a family of artists so his passion for photography and the visual arts began at his early age. Since his childhood, Kabas has always loved things with artistic flare. He liked to read art books and attend art shows and exhibitions. He had a strong conviction that he would become an artist; and it happened. He has been a devoted photographer for much of his life. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Upon his graduation he proceeded for his MBA degree in Columbia University. After completing his studies he chose photography as his profession. He enjoys teaching photography and leads workshops.

His fine art photography was featured in his own exhibitions: Mound-Silent Villages, Dream World, High Angle, Recto-Verso, A Celebration of Istanbul and the Turkish Tourism and Culture Office in New York, Third Eye at PG, Art Gallery in Istanbul, and Aerial Adana in Adana.
