Description:
This image is a portrait of the famous racehorse, Pilsudski, set against a powerful and atmospheric golden background. Pilsudski, owned by Lord Weinstock and trained by Michael Stoute, was the exceptional flat horse of the 1996-7 season. Amongst other victories, he ran second in the Arc de Triomphe and won the Breeders Cup, collecting prize money of #2,829,087 in the process. Now retired to stud in Japan, Pilsudski is undoubtedly one of the best middle-distance performers of all time. **NOTE** This Limited Edition Print has been hand signed by the artist, printed with lightfast inks on acid-free, matt coated, high grade board from elemental chlorine-free pulps sourced from environmentally-conscious paper suppliers.
